Sutcliffe's redevelopment of a 10-acre brownfield site for award-winning Yorkshire landscaping and forestry supply company Green-tech Ltd finished on schedule and the company's 40 staff moved in November. The multi-use HQ complex includes offices, retail, and warehouses in an environmentally-friendly park is now home to Green-tech's £10 million business and a showcase for its 6,000 plus product range.

We've also completed a new factory for Northern Paper Board and a state of the art £500,000 carbon fibre research and development centre for cycle specialist Hope Technology.

Sutcliffe Construction has finished its second factory for the rapidly-expanding soft drinks manufacturer, Cawingredients at its head office in Leeming Bar. The new factory of 8,800 sqm (95,000 sqft) has been designed to function as a product mixing operation as well as a warehouse. Cawingredients’ main operation on the same site is 15,300 sqm (165,000 sqft) and was built by Sutcliffe in 2010.
To keep up with our ever increasing workload we have just taken delivery of two new items of construction plant - a new JCB JS145 14.5 ton excavator and a new Thwaites 9 ton four-wheel-drive dumper. The new JCB comes with the luxury of a heated operators seat and is also equipped with a full-time rear-view camera.
