Sutcon signs up as Grassington Festival 2016 sponsor

Sutcon has extended its support of Grassington Festival for 2016. The 15-day multi-form festival is in its 36th year and has become one of Yorkshire’s top art and music festivals with a jam-packed daily schedule. Headline acts for 2016, which runs from 17 June – 2 July, include former Soft Cell founder Marc Almond and 70s punk legends, The Stranglers.

James Sutcliffe, managing director, Sutcon, says: “Having been based in the Skipton area since we started over 40 years ago, Sutcon has strong local roots and we’re a big fan of local events especially the Grassington Festival ¬ which is nearly as old as us! For 2016, we’ve extended our support so if you get up there you’ll see plenty of Sutcon banners and we’ll be showing up at even more events than usual!”

This year’s line-up also includes: comedians Rich Hall, Rob Beckett and Shapi Khorsandi, Hackney Colliery Band, Hue and Cry, Calendar Girls, Ruby Turner, Snake Davis, Bootleg Beatles and Skipton Building Society Camerata.

Last year over 27,000 enjoyed the event centred around the lovely village of Grassington and 2016’s programme is even better. If you haven’t booked any tickets yet, we’re making it easy for you – just click on the link here. http://www.grassingtonfestival.org.uk/
